My passion for counseling is rooted in the belief that all humanity has been created to live in healthy relationship with God, self, and others. I strive to create a safe and compassionate environment for clients to grow, heal, and take courageous steps towards the life they were created to live. I consider it an honor and privilege to “hold space” for clients as they do the hard, courageous, and vulnerable work of taking an honest look within.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Tennessee (license #1690). I have a bachelors degree in Public Relations from the University of Tennessee, a masters degree in Christian Studies from Union University, and a masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Trevecca Nazarene University. I am a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. Before launching into private practice, I worked as a counselor at a local non-profit organization.
When I’m not in the office, I enjoy being active outdoors or enjoying good food and conversation at a local spot in Nashville. I am married and have two children and a dog that thinks she’s a human. No matter where I am, you’ll probably find me leaning into an intentional conversation and desiring to know more about the person in front of me.
