Approach
I strive to create a safe and compassionate environment for clients to explore, heal, and grow. My stance towards clients is empathetic, authentic, collaborative, and supportive. I use a variety of therapeutic treatments which enable me to tailor my approach for the specific client I am working with. I work out of an attachment-based framework, believing that relational health deeply impacts a person’s mental/emotional health. Therapy modalities I incorporate into my work include Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I am also an EMDR trained therapist. Common concepts I work on with clients include self-compassion, mindfulness, resiliency, holistic health (body/mind/heart/soul), self-care, emotion regulation, and healthy relationships. While I enjoy working with clients from all walks of life, I have particular interest in working with clients who identify as Christians and want to incorporate faith in the therapeutic process.
My Office Space
It is important that you feel comfortable in the physical space in which counseling is taking place. My office offers a relaxing and inviting environment that clients can feel safe in.
